Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization (SEO for short) is different than SEM which stands for Search Engine Marketing. SEM is simply paying Google and others for Adwords. SEO achieves organic (natural) search engine results for your search terms. For example, if you are a Philadelphia Plumber you do not need to be found world wide for the search term “plumber’ on Google and other search engines.

SEO is part applied science and part art form. The mechanics of SEO have been explained many places on the world wide web. Therefore, I will not be redundant. If you have tried all your own Search Engine Optimization techniques and want the job done by a professional contact us. There are many techniques we have learned over the years. However, nobody can give you a guarantee.

If you receive those email solicitations that claim “first page results guaranteed” run fast and far the other way. The only way to guarantee first page results is to pay for SEM. The trouble with SEM is the prices are inĀ  a bid status. Let’s say you are willing to pay 50 cents for each visitor. The next time you login to your SEM control panel the bid price may now be at 75 cents. Some of these prices run up to many dollars per click. It can break your bank in no time. The other down side is the simple act of getting a visitor to your website is no guarantee of results.

Normally the results you are looking for is for your phone to ring, a form to be filled out or a product to be purchased. At Kelly Web Sales we understand what your needs are and try and help you achieve your goals.
