Twitter Makes TweetDeck Acquisition Official
It’s been reported all month that Twitter was acquiring TweetDeck. This week, CNN reported that the papers had been signed, but there was stilll no official word from Twitter or TweetDeck. Until now.

Twitter Buys TweetDeck, According to Reports
According to reports, Twitter has acquired third-party Twitter client TweetDeck. TechCrunch founder Michael Arrington says he’s heard from a source with “knowledge of the deal,” and that it will be officially announced in the next few days. He puts the price in the $40 – 50 million range.

Video Chat Between iOS and Android, Courtesy of Qik and Skype
Qik , the mobile video company that Skype recently acquired , has launched a new version of its Android app and an update for its iPhone app, which allow people with Android devices and iOS devices to video chat with one another. “This new version of Qik Video Connect for Android gives users the ability to video chat seamlessly with friends on both Android phones and iPhones.
