Advertisers Abandon Village Voice Media Over Child Sex Ads
In the wake of an online petition started by Ohio minister Justin Wassel, over two dozen advertisers have pulled their advertisements from Village Voice Media. According to Wassell, Backpage.com , a website dedicated to listing classifieds from all across the country, frequently runs ads for children prostitutes, a practice he brought to the attention of the site’s numerous advertisers. As the number of virtual signatures on the petition grew, so did the number of companies who no longer wished to do business with Village Voice.

Apple Sales Growth May Plateau in China
Even though Apple sales in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan skyrocketed by 300% to $7.9 billion in Q1, a trajectory which would double last year’s total sales of $13.3 billion, some analysts think that this expansion will soon begin to slow.
